Are you a natural leader with a passion for community building? Do you want to play a central role in guiding a dynamic student association and representing Muslim students at the University of Amsterdam? As Chair of svMUSA, you will take on a leading role in coordinating the board and setting the vision and direction of the association. You will oversee the overall functioning of the organization, support fellow board members, and represent svMUSA in both internal and external matters. This is a highly rewarding role for someone with a strong sense of responsibility, vision, and dedication to serving the Muslim student community.

What does the role entail?
- Providing leadership and strategic direction for the board and association;
- Coordinating board meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring effective communication;
- Representing svMUSA in meetings with external stakeholders and partner organizations;
- Supporting and empowering board members in the execution of their roles;
- Upholding the values and mission of svMUSA in all activities.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills;
- Is organized, proactive, and decisive;
- Has a clear vision for the development of svMUSA and its role on campus;
- Can manage responsibilities and support others in doing the same;
- Is available for at least twelve hours per week;
- Is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and active Muslim student environment.
