EVENTS MANAGER
Why should you become an Events Manager?
Are you an enthusiastic organizer with a passion for building a strong community or promoting academic development? Do you want to contribute to connecting Muslim students through inspiring social or intellectual activities? Then we are looking for you! Within svMUSA, we are looking for two board members to lead our event committees: one for social events and one for academic events. In both roles, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing activities that cater to the needs of our members — whether it's cozy game nights, insightful lectures, picnics, or interactive workshops.

What does the role entail?
- You will lead your committee (social or academic) and collaborate closely with its members
- You will independently organize events from start to finish, from concept to execution;
- You will have weekly meetings with the board and your committee to discuss progress and ideas;
- You will ensure a positive atmosphere, clear planning, and smooth execution during events;
- You’ll have the space to bring your own ideas to the table and further enrich svMUSA.
We are looking for someone who:
Is enthusiastic, creative, and responsible;
Has strong communication and organizational skills;
Can work independently as well as function well within a team;
Is available for at least ten hours per week;
(For the academic position) Is interested in intellectual growth and topics relevant to Muslim students.
